Thank you for the information. I also posted my book rating and brief review on the blog of a couple of GR thriller book groups I belong to. I ordered a paperback copy of your book but will definitely buy the hardcovers when they are available. Next, I will need to know if you'll tour to promote them. If you do I strongly recommend scheduling Anderson's Book Store in either LaGrange or Naperville Illinois?

K. Patrick Donoghue David, thanks for spreading the good word to your GR groups! Not sure about a book tour, I'll need to see whether independent books stores are more receptive to my second book than they were with the first (many of the bookstores I approached weren't excited about (a) working with a new author in general, and (b) working with an author who markets primarily via Amazon). But if I do add a book tour, I'll make sure to contact the store you suggested.

I just reviewed your book and gave it 5 stars, something I do not do very often. I must tell you I hate cliffhangers because these books do not come often enough for that to be an effective technique to maintain readership. Now when can we expect to see your second book and will it be hardcover? I also don't like paperbacks or ebooks. I read them if I have to but I prefer hardcovers.

To answer your question, at my current writing pace, I expect to publish Race for the Flash Stone in late January to early February. Both books will be available as hardcovers at that time (in addition to paperback, eBook, and most likely an audiobook version will follow later in the Spring). Kind Regards, Patrick

K. Patrick Donoghue Hi Beth, thanks for your question! I've received several similar inquiries recently so I just posted a global answer on my web site blog page (updates to my web site blog also eventually appear on the Shadows of the Stone Benders' Goodreads and Amazon pages).

Short answer - I expect to release Race for the Flash Stone late this year or early next year. For the long answer, check out my blog :)
