Barbara Golder I woke up hung over. No coffee in the house. :-)
Barbara Golder You know, I am not really sure. It just happens. Something connects and ideas begin to form a story and there it is. I've often heard writers say that stories take on a life of their own and I think that is true.

What interests me most is relationship--how we connect to each other, which is most often through our deficiencies rather than our strengths. I am curious about how people come together to find out something more about themselves and--in the end--about God, however they see Him, and even when they don't.
Barbara Golder The third book in the Lady Doc series. Stay tuned!

Barbara Golder My head is a nice place to hang out. I love making connections and writing lets me do that.

Barbara Golder My most recent read was The Spirituality of Imperfection by Ernest Kurtz and Katherine Ketcham. In the stack are Drown by Junot Diaz, Still Pilgrim by Angela O'Donnell and COnferences by John Cassian.
Barbara Golder I've been involved in end of life issues for more than 25 years. With the prominence of Physician Assisted Suicide as a topic these days, it seemed like a natural theme for a mystery.
