There's really only one way to get past writer's block: to write. It never gets better until I force a sentence or two on to the page. The first paragraph is rough, the second paragraph is easier, and by the end of the first page, I'm back in the game.

Inspiration for me tends to come in scenes. I'll "daydream" a particular vignette and get curious about the characters in and what they're doing and why. The hard part is putting that scene to paper and connecting it to other scenes to form a continuous narrative.

Two Wizard Roulette, the second book in the Modern Knights series. The action is really starting to heat up in Vegas. I particularly like how three-dimensional the villain feels.
