Ask the Author: Parker T. Geissel

“I'm open to throwing around some ideas with anyone that's got an interest. I can't say there's any great comfort to be found in my talk, but I imagine there's worse ways to waste your time.” Parker T. Geissel

Parker T. Geissel It's a tough pit to dig yourself out of, when you can't find how to get an idea out properly. I try a few different things, skirt around the problem and come at it sideways to see if I can figure some way through it, write some background on the scene, write a conversation that could have happened just before the scene is supposed to start, investigate how to describe parts of the background in different ways. Sometimes that leads into something good, other times it feels like a waste, but even then you get some satisfaction out of it, simply by putting down words.
