What's that? Oh, yeah. It's when you think you and your writing and every word in the world suck, so all the crazy things your brain produces are bat dung. And you hate yourself. And you want to bang your head against the table in your favorite coffee shop but you don't do it 'cuz SHAME. That thing, right?
Here's what I do: I down three cups of java and let the caffeine inundate my body until it reaches my fingertips. And then, *drumroll*, I shut my eyes and let my fingers produce a bunch of nonsense.
I end up with an unreadable-vomit-inducing mess that can be fixed or tossed away--most likely the latter. Yup, that's how I unblock my blocked writer's mind.
Either that, or a plunger.
