I'm in the process of getting my fantasy novel, The Color Eater, out to the public. It's the tale of Olena Burnwhite, a girl who's been ripped from her family and hunted for an ability she doesn't understand. Lena goes looking for his missing father and learns about more than just her super-power.

Read and write then read and write again. Also use a pen and paper when you're stuck. There's something about the tangible feel of ink and paper that slows you down and really lets your mind work in a different way.

Not very well. First with procrastination, normally starting with cleaning ending with internet surfing. Then I set a timer and tell myself "You only have to write for 15 minutes." I'll start by handwriting in my journal, and normally by the time I'm through my journal entry I can convince myself to open my work-in-progress and work for a little bit longer. Or if the WIP is going nowhere I'll try for a flash fiction piece or blog post.
