What are you currently working on?
Simon Foster I'm currently working on Lazarus, the sequel to my debut crime novel Wanderlust. Lazarus follows the exploits of Luke Bales, an Aussie expat who runs a bar on New York's Lower East Side called The Billabong.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Simon Foster An Aussie expat living in New York, I have long been a fan of both crime fiction and the Big Apple. When I realized that no one had written a crime novel based in New York and narrated from an Australian perspective, the result was Wanderlust, my debut crime novel.
