When I read about Al Gore’s electric bill and how he flies around on a jumbo jet to give presentations on global warming, it made me realize that not everything stamped green is necessarily green.
It inspired an image in my head of an environmentalist and a gun control lobbyist going on a shooting date in a hummer. I built a story around this image. I typically come up with one compelling image and build an entire story world around it when I write.
