For a long while, Worship and Adore were the only On My Knees books planned. I decided a while after their release to do a third book, Communion. I wanted to explore Luke and Vance's HEA more and see (for myself) what happened after the end of Adore. Communion is releasing April 30th.

The third book in the On My Knees series, Communion, is releasing this month. It's currently available to pre-order. My next book, Wrath, is also MM, and will be up for pre-order soon. :)

Yes, they are! Total standalones. Crown Jewels (which is free right now) and The Boy Next Door have some character overlap. But all the books are standalones.

I'm almost finished with it. It should release in February or March. :)

Tatiana and Shura from The Bronze Horseman.
Ella James
Yes, for sure. I've just been really, really slow with it. I'm hoping to release it sometime later this year.

Thanks so much! This is my favorite kind of question. ;) xoxoxoxox

I'm re-writing it, and it should be finished soon. Sorry for the wait. xo

I kept hearing from friends that I should write a romantic comedy, which I cannot do. I'm not a "light" romance type of writer. I prefer heavier subjects. But I got this idea that sounds kind of light, on its face, which became the basis for my next release, Crown Jewels. It has some comedic elements, but also deals with a heavy subject. And it's lighter than Sloth and Murder were.

I don't really know. I just get an idea I can't get out of my head, and become obsessed with it, and it grows into a story sort of like a white lie grows into a larger one.
For my young adult novel, Here, I had this image of a girl finding a lost guy in the fields around her house, near sunset. And there were mountains in the background. The guy didn't know who he was. So a whole book was built around that small snippet.
For another book, Murder, I had an idea of this thing happening between two people, and then sought to tell the story of what happened in a way that would make the reader think something else had actually happened. And I built the characters after I had the basis of the plot.
And then for yet another book, Sloth, I had the idea of two college drug dealers having kind of some competition, and then hooking up. And then I had a totally different idea about two people writing each other anonymous letters. And I layered the two ideas on top of each other and it all became one book.

I'm assuming you saw that Murder has now been released. :)
This question contains spoilers...
(view spoiler)[I'm in the middle of reading the Erotic Fairy Tale Boxset. I've finished Red & Wolfe (loved it), and I've literally just finished Hansel (I was uncomfortable at some points, but I did enjoy the mystery), but something about it has been bugging me. Maybe its just my edition? But, Hansel has a daughter, who he found at age one? Then after that, the story goes on ten years later? But she's somehow fifteen? I'm confused.. (hide spoiler)]

Your version of the book must be one that contains an error about his daughter's age. If you want to email me at ella_f_james@ymail.com, I can send you another version. Sorry about that!
