I just keep writing. My first draft wasn't very good, but my second draft was better, and my third one was better than my second. When I got stuck, I got up and took a walk, took a break and started in again.

My book is a memoir about my childhood growing up on my family's farm with my siblings and first-cousins playing together and working in the fields. I had an amazing childhood and I wanted to save my memories and put it in writing to pass on to my nieces and nephews and great-nieces, a time and a place that is disappearing.
