Wow-what a cool question! So many come to mind-The World of Harry Potter sounds exciting, as does Middle Earth. This one might require a bit more thought...

I FINALLY finished Chernow's HAMILTON this summer. It's been my "in between books" book for two years now and I was excited to finally put it down. I also finished Chris Moore's "The Serpent of Venice" as well. I'd been saving it until I knew there was another Pocket book coming, which Chris confirmed to me over Twitter recently!
I also read Fire & Blood, a Targaryen History by GRRM. I didn't plan to read it, to be honest. I'd planned to skim it and move on, but I was sucked in immediately. Reminded me of what a great writer he is! Just need the next ASOIAF book please George!
REad several books on writing as well. Gotta keep learning!

It's a pretty amazing world we live in. I find that the people I meet often help me find inspiration. Often times it's the characters in my head trying to get out, too. They can be bossy.

I'm working on a novel about a young man named Freddy Pinkerton. That's all I can say right now...

Just write. Surround yourself with others of like mind and just write. We do it because we must.

The people you meet, both in the real world as a part of the writing community and the fictional ones in my head who boss me around.

Honestly, I find that when I'm stuck, it helps to just stop and do something else for a while. I try to write every day but I also know that forcing it when it's just not happening is unwise. For me it just ends up leading to frustration, which is counterproductive.
