I already wrote it, ACCEPT THE BROKEN HEART. Took me over 25 years to be able to expose that story. People who know me get that my life is literally an open book. Right now my fiancee and I are working on the story of our unconventional relationship. The only mystery there is that Sam won't let anyone see what he looks like till the wedding rehearsal dinner, he is having too much fun with that mystery.

I learned how to lucid dream a long time ago, and I use images and situations and characters about whom I dream, but nothing in a writer's life goes to waste. Simple people-watching in a mall can make my imagination go wild. And I love to find a true story on which to base a novel.

Don't give up and never let anyone tell you you cannot have your dream. Join a writers critique group, attend conferences, take your craft seriously. You can both dream and be practical, most writers have day jobs.

I get to make up the reality I'd like, to address wrongs and have a good time with people I'be come to know in my own mind. When someone tells me that something I read meant something personally to them, all the challenges of writing just fade away. :>D

No such thing as writer's block in my world. I work on multiple things at the same time, so when one piece starts to go stale, I go on to another, and by the time I get back around to the first one, I have a fresh perspective.
