I love being a writer because I get to create a whole world out of words. I dream up these places and scenarios in my head and make them a reality by writing them down. Then I get to share those words with others and they get to paint the pictures in their heads in their own unique ways. I love that I have the ability to tell a story and get the constant stream of words in my mind out and into other people’s minds. I love that I can make an impact on a reader's life through my writing.

1. Read as much as you can and write as much as you can! Even if you're just writing in a diary, try to write something each day if you can.
2. Believe in your story and get to know your characters inside and out.
3. Keep writing, don't stop until your story has been told.

I listen to music or sit by the edge of the ocean and just stare out at the water. It's peaceful, and I always seem to draw inspiration from the beach.

I think the idea for Illusion came from my interest in dreams. I love researching dream meanings, and my friends are always asking me to analyze their crazy dreams. I really just wanted to dig deeper into the meaning of dreams and create a fictional world based on that.
