The best thing about being a writer is being able to live in two separate worlds - reality and fantasy. There have been many times when I'm so absorbed in what I'm writing or outlining, my husband has to yell just to get my attention. I become this involved even when I'm reading another author's book.

Usually to deal with writer's block, I dive into a good book, and step out of the fantasy of what I'm writing for a little while.
