The bible is a work of fiction, more brutal than Game of Thrones. Some people honestly believe it is the answer to everything.

Hi Mark, actually, the plan had to be revised. There will be a grand total of FIVE books to Light in the Dark. After that, I plan on telling more in the same world. Can't say too much, other than that it will be Bourne Identity spy action added to the already presented themes.

Hi Lukas, I wish I could, but due to me having made the book available via KDP select/Kindle Unlimited, I also agreed to not release the ebook elsewhere. Although, now that you ask, I might start considering other venues.
Thanks!

Everyone, I believe, has certain music, certain songs, that remind them of some passage of a book or film they enjoyed, listen to that. And don't let your own perfectionism get in the way, something, some sort of solution will present itself. If you reach a point in the story that won't go as planned, listen to your characters, they'll tell you where they want to go, and what they want to do.
Don't force it, however, and don't be afraid to say "fuck it" and do something else.

Read! Read outside your genre. Read outside your comfort zone. Read everything.
If you write, you write, no distractions! Best way to do that is to actually have a second computer, an older machine, that is not(!!!) connected to the internet, positioned somewhere you feel comfortable, with a view that is monotonous but still allows for sky to be seen. (I live in a smallish town, but high up, so I have lots of roofs and a bit of sky.) Daylight, I found is important as well. Tell any and everyone to piss off when you write.

I have a ritual which I follow whenever I write. The day I determine to write again is a day where I try to shove most other distractions out of the way. Then, the following day, the first day of writing, I start with the ritual.
Inspiration comes at the oddest of places, on the toilet, under the shower, in bed shortly before drifting off to sleep. Inspiration strikes when you least expect it. The rest is fleshing out what's there and let the characters guide you.

I've been running around with the story for a long time. As a matter of fact, parts of it existed before, as a series of interconnected short stories, in German. I re-imagined the story over the years, adapting it to my then current tastes, with this iteration being the one I'm fully satisfied with
