Trace Hunter More like a horror novel...when I was younger I use to spend a lot of time backpacking in the woods, sometimes using tents, others just bivouac under the stars.
This one night however, something woke me up about one or two in the morning. I was in a bivouac that night and a light ground fog was everywhere. I happened to see in the waning moonlight, something huge digging in the ground. My first thought was a bear...but this was not on all fours.
I watched it for a while, perhaps an hour, before it got bored or whatever and moved off.
The next morning, sure enough, a large hole was dug in the ground where I had seen it.
All I can say, whatever this was, it was larger than a bear and very darkly colored.
Yep, a potential horror novel....

Thanks for asking!
Trace Hunter Curiosity caused Paula to reach out and slowly grab the doorknob.
A three foot spider sat on the other side feeling the web vibrations as the doorknob turned.

Trace Hunter Oh this is a good one!
1899...London England, December 31st...
I would knock on the door of H.G. Wells...and literally ask to see his Time Machine!!! (actually ask for a ride too!)
Trace Hunter Two on my list are The Whispering Room and the Crooked Staircase, both novels by my favorite author, Dean Koontz.
Trace Hunter Well, me personally, I've never had it and can not anticipate having it. I am creating new ideas for novels every day and have more to write about than I know I have time to do.
Now, that being said, how would I get around having writer's block?
I would pick a topic that I enjoy, doesn't matter what it is, could even be an activity and then imagine what type of story I could make from it- and then twist it into the genre that I like.
Also, once you have that idea, even if it is a little one, write it down, even if it doesn't sound right, the point is, the idea is there and can be built upon over time. Rework what you have, then, if more ideas related to it happen, stop and write them down...and never stop.
Trace Hunter Few things, first, being able to create worlds - create characters that to many readers become alive.
The second thing is to hopefully, write something that affect people in some way, either by inspiring them or at the very least, release them for a short time from the pressures of everything around them.
Lastly, if I can make people smile, feel good for even a short period time it makes all the writing worth it.
Trace Hunter This is something that I am asked quite often, the bottom line - Don't be Afraid!!!
Be yourself, because when you are, the words will flow out of you. Write what you feel and yes, we all have to worry about the usual spelling and grammar, however, worry about that after the work is completed. Getting it down on paper or digital is the most important thing.

Trace Hunter Writing has always come easy to me, as well as the topics. I have always been a creative person and creating a world - through words and then living in it throughout the story, to me, is exciting.
