My life is filled with mystery, drama, craziness, etc. I'm actually working on something loosely based off my life. I won't give too many details, but this one is hard to write because its so personal.

I have been having the same recurring dream about a young girl since my early teens. I started writing my ideas down on paper and Asanti was born.

Being able to tell my stories the way I choose to. If I want to write a sad ending, I can do that. I'm the author. If I want to allow my protagonist to do a complete three-sixty in terms of personality, I can do that too. It's my imagination.

I move on to something else. I always have another story in the background. When I get writer's block on my main story, I move on to the next. Usually within a day or two I'm over the writer's block hump. If not, I keep writing my second story until motivation kicks in for my primary story. The key for me is to keep writing!
