I would go to the birth of time and if able to control the creation of mankind, adjust human nature to be that of love and empathy over jealously, greed and thirst for power.
I would have to think of a new mechanism of survival to complement this amendment to human nature in order for survival in this harsh world environment we have. Play with one requires adjustment to many others.
Would like to rethink the emotional and nervous systems of the human body for less suffering - mental and physiological. :)

Writer's block never really applied in my situation with 'Wisdom for My Son and Daughter'. I came up with a list of ideas I wanted to discuss and covered them. As time passed I found more ideas flowed.
I would think writer's block would apply more to fiction than non-fiction?

Chip away, a little bit a day, I'm no poet and I know it. Don't put off what you can do today. A few hundred words a day add up to a book after a while. Like anything in life persistence pays off in the end....usually.

I was, and am inspired to write to help others. To leave a legacy, to help the world with its problems is inspiring.

The book idea came while flying along in an airliner thinking about my life and that of my son growing up. The initial idea was purely to write a very small life guide for him. Then the idea grew and I thought why not write further to perhaps help friends.
So the birth of the book came from a place of passion.
