Dal Maclean Hi Emma, thanks very much for reading ACFOM and I'm very happy indeed that you liked it! I'm afraid there isn't an epilogue or part 2 at this point, but if it helps for now, in my head its definitely an HEA -- well all my stories are tbh. There are bumps along the way inevitably but they get there. They're made for each other and they know it. Thanks again! X

Dal Maclean Thank you so much! What a lovely comment! My next book 'Blue on Blue' (which is out in March) doesn't have James as the POV character Im afraid (its Will Foster from Object of Desire, if you've read that) but James does have a pretty hefty role in it, if that helps? I'm glad too, that you like and get my boy Calum - he's a complex fella. Thank you again for taking the time to send such a kind message. You made my day! X
Dal Maclean Hey! Im so glad you enjoyed BL and OOD. At the moment I'm polishing off a book from Will Foster's POV and I also have a novella out on May 31 as part of the "Footsteps in the Dark" MM Mystery anthology, *but* thats not in the BL universe (its set in the Western Isles of Scotland). So at the moment Im afraid no plans for Pezmo, but I hope you do enjoy whats coming! Thanks for the encouragement and for getting in touch. :) <3

Dal Maclean Hi Karen,
Thanks for your message and Im so glad you've enjoyed my books! Im afraid at the moment there are no current plans for audio versions, not because I don't want that, but because its a pretty expensive thing to do. I am looking into options though for it though because I'd love it to happen!

Dal Maclean Hi Rae,

Well thank YOU for taking the time to come and tell me. :) I'm very, very happy you liked BL and OOD, and the answer is yes. I'm working on the third book in the BL universe, from Will Foster's POV, set not that long after OOD. Tom, Jamie and Ben will be in it too I hope.

Thanks again Rae!

Dal Maclean Hi again Susan. :)

I'll promise I'll post links and news via my website (www.dalmaclean.com) and the website blog which links here to my Goodreads page.

There'll also be news and links on Facebook and Twitter (links to these are on the website too). I hope that helps! Thanks again for taking an interest in OOD!

Dal Maclean Hi Susan,
Thank you so much for your lovely message. Yes, Object of Desire will be coming out in digital formats, including mobi for Kindle. Blind Eye Books will be the publishing house. I'll post links when I get them.

Im really happy you enjoyed Bitter Legacy and I very much agree with you about mystery as a genre in MM -- I wish there was lots more of it too. (I'm a huge fan of Josh Lanyon's incidentally).

Someone actually just told me that Object of Desire marries Mystery, Romance and Psychological Thriller/Horror so-- that sounds like a pigs breakfast doesnt it? Wibble. Its set in the Bitter Legacy universe anyway but its not a police procedural like BL was, more from the other pov. (I hope I'm not putting you off completely!)

Take care, and thanks again for taking the time to write such a nice message :)

Dal Maclean Hi Paul. Thank you so much! Im extremely glad that you enjoyed BL -- as a Londoner -- and that you found the characters believable. That means a lot. :)

This was my first book (no other pseudonyms or anything) but I am in the process of writing another right now, which is also set in London. And then, I'll take it from there. (Hopefully!) Thanks again for your kind words, Paul. They're much appreciated. :)

Btw I always ask if you saw that theres a coda to BL on my website-- just in case that passed you by.
Dal Maclean Hi Emily, Thank you for such a lovely message. :) Im very glad you enjoyed BL and grateful that you took the time to come and tell me. There's definitely a lot of mulling (and writing) going on at the moment along the 'not necessarily a sequel' lines you suggest.. The pub crowd -- I hadn't considered them in that context!. :) Thanks again Emily. :) XX
Dal Maclean Hi again Sharon :) The answer is ... I don't know. The thought hadn't entered my head until you asked, to be honest! Since Bitter Legacy is my first book and I'm entirely new to this game, Ive really just been grateful if anyone read it.

I'll investigate the feasibility of audio though and see if I can find a more definitive reply for you. Thanks for your interest! D X
Dal Maclean Hi Sharon, Thanks so much! I really glad you enjoyed Bitter Legacy and I very much appreciate that you took the time to come and tell me so. :) Im working on the next one right now, but I cant say when it might be finished. There will definitely be a Christmas coda to Bitter Legacy though, coming near Christmas (oddly enough!) Thanks again for commenting! .:) X
Dal Maclean Hey again Misty. I have to admit -- I've been hiding from a lot of it. :-O But thank you so much! X
Dal Maclean Hello Misty! I'm so glad you enjoyed 'Bitter Legacy', and thank you for taking the time to get in touch to tell me. :) To answer to your question honestly, I hadn't planned to do a sequel, not least because I had no idea how BL would go down. But... I don't think I'd anticipated how much some readers would like James. So. I have to think about whether it would work, and more to the point if I could make it good. (In a nutshell -- I don't know yet!) In the meantime though as I mentioned in the blog, if you like Jamie, there will be a little coda to 'Bitter Legacy' at Christmas with Blind Eye Books, so JH'll pop back sooner than you might have thought. Thanks again for your kind words, Misty! X
