My most recent book, Mystery (The first in the Life On A String series) started off when I was trying to create my serial, Checkboxes, as a game. I began with just one delinquent, then eventually decided I needed an actual gang. The characters were there, but I didn't decide what to do with them until after I read Nora Sakavic's All For The Game series; It gave me an overwhelming urge to write a tight-nit group of morally ambiguous people, similar to the group presented in that series. I'll always cite that series as my inspiration for this one. I never would have been able to write something like this if I hadn't read those books.

Still gotta write something. Somewhere under the block there's still something I can be inspired to write; Sometimes this means leaving my original stuff to the side to write a fanfic, or starting something brand new even though I have several unfinished WIPs waiting for me. It's still words; Write Every Day, as much as you can.
