Isabella Harron Getting to tell all of my crazy thoughts and be able to blame it on fiction. My motto is " I do not have a dirty mind, but a sexy imagination." No words were ever more true than these. If someone makes a statement i immediately see the other more risky version of what they said. Been blessed with this gift since i was a teenager. Now I have a platform to as they say. "Let it all hang out."
Isabella Harron I have three daughters. And one day i wondered what would happen if a mother and a daughter ever fell for the same guy. Natalee, my character as a mother has the hardest time choosing herself first. I feel most mothers do this. That was my question. Would a mother choose herself instead of her child. The rest of the story moved in its own direction. the original inspiration did not do the story justice. Natalee wrote the direction of the story. It took on a life of its own. And i am pleased that I was fortunate enough to be along for the ride.
Isabella Harron I am a die hard romantic. Always have been. I seen love and passion wherever i go. Its everywhere when you really look. Its the crush of the young teenage sacker at the grocery store for the older cashier. Its the waiter that serves a beautiful woman at a table in a restaurant. Or the younger woman admiring the older gentleman. Its all ages. Young or old. Haven't you ever seen two women over sixty admiring the twenty something young man with the bulging muscles. Their fingers twitching to pinch his backside. Its everywhere. The touches, the glances the hope for passion. It inspires me. These feeling make me giddy. That is where i get my inspiration. Once i had a adorable eighty something year old man with a twinkle in his blue eyes. He smiled and thanked me. Called me darling. Left me feeling happy the rest of my day. And it sparked a curiosity. What was he like when he was younger? His passion was still there. His spark became a character.
Isabella Harron I actually have three works in progress. One a quite serious novel involving love stories through three generations during many times, happy and troubled. Second, a short very very steamy story. And when i say steamy i mean it is warming me up just writing it. It is near completion. So watch out for it soon. And a new project i am ready to jump all the way in soon, telling the story of five friends, different ages, different places in their lives with one specific thing in common. A love story, a comedy, and a book about life. It is titled. "The Horny Housewives Handbook." So keep an eye out for that one.
Isabella Harron Write. Write and write. If i could of learned one thing twenty years ago, it would of been to not worry about what your family will think of your writing. The words, the feelings that you share in writing should not be inhibited by what your loved ones judge. Those fears kept me for years from letting it all out. It took me reaching the ripe old age of fifty to realize. Write. and write some more. The happiness you feel is limitless.
Isabella Harron I use that time to read. I find when i let myself relax and enjoy many of the great works available it sparks my creativity. I also am a severe closet romantic. A glance, a touch even in the most innocent manner i find will set a fire within me. Before long that touch or glance becomes two characters and then well, a story evolves.
