K.M. Oddeck The joy of creation, I suppose.
K.M. Oddeck First thing before one writes:
1. think of the target audience, what they might like to read.
2. Don't be a copy cat and spew forth tired themes. Try and be unique.
3. A writer writes, and doesn't wait for inspiration. This comes in the process of writing.
4. Almost any good piece of writing that comes into public consumption has gone through more revisions and personal edits than the author cares to count. The end result of writing may be beautiful, pleasant to read, and inspiring, but it's hard, hard work. So don't come into it with the thought of making a quick financial killing. You'll be disappointed.
5. Oh, and last but not least, please... please... Know your grammar! Otherwise, you will kill your audience slowly, but surely, and they will never forgive you for all eternity. :)
