Kim E. Morgan, MAT, MA The discovery of stories, language, poetry.

"I write to discover what I know. (Flannery O'Connor) I am always a little surprised by what I write - the good, the bad, the insanity and the sublime.

I recall a former professor's words. He said, “You are a fine storyteller with a good heart. Great stories will come.” Dr. Rodney Frey is author of Stories That Make the World: Oral Literature of the Indian Peoples of the Inland Northwest, and director of general education at the University of Idaho.
Kim E. Morgan, MAT, MA Stories are everywhere. I discover the stories within and around me that give meaning to my life and continue to shape my imaginings.

Living in Idaho is all the inspiration I need. But I do travel often. I am a country girl at heart and travel to Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, and North and South Carolina where I enjoy new locations and local history. My job offers me great opportunities to travel to California, Washington, Oregon and Montana. I lived for several years on Maui, which to this day inspire me.
Kim E. Morgan, MAT, MA My advice to aspiring writing? Be the dreamer. Write Until Dawn. Hush negative self-talk. Set your soul on fire with imagination. Keep writing no matter what.

I teach creative writing. Everyone in my circle of friends and acquaintances want to learn to write. My teaching philosophy – life philosophy is, we are all born to be storytellers. We move, we breath, we live. We express ourselves with stories.
