The idea for Unraveled came when I realized how much I wanted to combine something in the erotic romance genre with a real, deep plot that wasn't your typical love story. I actually completely rewrote the story at the start of 2015 when a special someone was deployed to Spain. It turned out to be the perfect piece to the puzzle I was trying to put together.

Currently I have several things in the works. First, the sequel to UNRAVELED which I hope to release in late fall 2016. It is titled TANGELED and continues the story of Aiden, Olivia, and the lost treasure of Esperanza. Readers will learn more about the history of Evangelina and Gabriella and why it is so important to the story as well as a deeper look into Aiden's background.
I'm also working on two other series starters! But those I'm keeping a lid on right now. ;-) Both I expect to debut winter 2016-2017.

Treat writing like a business - not a hobby. Set aside time to devote to it every day. Read what other people write in your niche and learn what you like and don't like + what is successful verses what is not. Follow reading and media trends and use that as your guide for what kind of writing in your own niche will be most successful. You wouldn't put half the effort into your business and expect big things - you shouldn't do that with your novel either. Research your genre, research your plot, and research how to be a better writer.
