Jex Lane I wouldn't rule it out, although I think a short story would be more likely.

Hello there! I was wondering if all your time and creative energy is focused on BeMo, or do you have other stories/universes you want to tell/show us that are in the works? (Other than Ashwood Red, of course.)

Jex Lane Right now, it's all BeMo all the time. I'm working on Matthew's books, Ashwood Red, and a few other spin-offs (on Facebook, I've hinted at a m/m romance* series set in this world, but I'm not quite ready to give details yet...). But down the road? I have ideas for a weird western, a YA trilogy, a sci fi series... I'd love to get to them all eventually. Matthew comes first though.

*Note, Matthew's books aren't m/m romance because I choose to show his bisexuallty on page and the love story—while really fucking important—isn't the central plot. But I love m/m romance and have a bajillion stories in mind for that genre. :)

Jex Lane Absolutely! But not until 2018. I have a spin-off series coming out before BeMo4. Once that's out the door, my focus will be working on the next few BeMo books =)

Hi ! I am a very big fan of you're series . I have read all the 3 book of beautiful monsters over 5 times already ! 1) will the 4th book be the last book ? I can't stop obsessing over beautiful monsters, I really hope it's a long series .

Matthew’s story does have a conclusion but I’m not sure how long it’ll take him to get there. My guess is that the series will end somewhere between 6 to 9 books.

I don't really know how to start...maybe with, i spent my last 4 days with reading your books until midnight...and i love them all, every book, every character and every feeling i had during that time. I'm from germany and english isn't my mother tongue, so i was wondering if there is a chance that i can read your books someday in german?

Jex Lane I'm open to doing translations but it's not on my radar quite yet. I'm self-published, so I move a little slower than a publishing house would because I only have so much bandwidth. I wish I had better news for you.

Jex Lane There is a possibility, but it's not in the schedule right now. I have a whole bunch of spin-off ideas but my issue right now is bandwidth. I need to keep the main BeMo books coming out at a reasonable pace or my fans might come after me.

Hey. I just finished reading Vol I and II of your Beautiful Monsters series. I was wondering how they were released so close together? And of course when I can look forward to the third one. :)

Jex Lane Since I am a new-ish author (Captive was my first!), I spent last year writing BeMo 1-3 back to back so I could release them relatively close together.

Expect Broken sometime early 2017. I don't have a solid date yet--sorry! When I do, I'll announce it on my website, facebook, twitter, etc.

Wonderful books captive and sire. I don't normally like to read series but I must confess your books hooked me. Matthew is a wonderful character. Will very much enjoy reading his journey. Is the third installment coming out soon?

Jex Lane Hi! I'm so happy to hear you're hooked. =)

BeMo 3 will be out soon-ish. I'm shooting for the 1st quarter of 2017. Because I'm self-published I want to put it out as soon as it's ready. If I gave a firm date, it would delay the release to be sure I could hit that day.
