First, Don't doubt yourself for a second. It's easy to question yourself and hard to pull through it.
Second, ask yourself your purpose for writing. If it is for the right reasons meaning creating a story or inspire others, just go for it.
And third and important one is to write everyday. Maybe some pages at a time or at least few lines. Don't wait for the inspiration to strike. Discipline in any field can get you close to success.

Frankly, its difficult to overcome the block especially when you are feeling not inspired enough. At these times, I just read and read. That way I can a get a break and can revisit where I left off. Mostly it works! ;)

You can create a world of your own and place characters in the setting, tweak and excite their emotions and move the readers. I absolutely love when my readers find solace in my world. As a writer, that's my ultimate aim!
