Writing provided me with a creative outlet.
I didn't know that I was looking for one until I started writing, but from day one, I loved it.
Long after day one (somewhere around day 550?), I then discovered the satisfaction of having created something... a book!
Writing Small Town Dreams was always a personal project, a closely guarded secret, but now that the secret is out, and people that I don't know speak so kindly of it, that's a wonderful feeling too.

Small Town Dreams is based on six months in which I saw both of my long-held childhood dreams become reality. The story remained just a collection of happy memories in my head for fifteen years... occasionally regaled to friends. The reaction was always positive and the stories didn't diminish with time, and so, with trepidation, I sat down one day with a pen and some paper and started to write. I soon found that I couldn't stop.
