I've heard the stories about Moll Dyer since I was a child, and remain intrigued by her tale- a strong, assertive woman punished for her beliefs (and lack of social graces) in a colony formed upon the bedrock of religious tolerance!
I read somewhere that "The Blair Witch" was loosely based on her, but removed from the southern Maryland colony. The "where" is essential to Moll's story, and I knew that couldn't stand! The movie was strongly focused on the modern happenings, and even though "Sister Witch" is a fictional account, Moll Dyer's story deserved to be told from her perspective.

It's easier to answer how I manage to tear myself away from it! I've always loved to write, and being an old(er) guy, there's a bunch of them stockpiled in my head begging for release!

I am currently neck deep in my final revision/edit of #2 in the Dyer trilogy- prior to submission to my editor. I hope it is as well received as Book 1!
