What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Halley Bock If you feel compelled to write and share something important to you, do it. Don't look for outside permission, approval, or reason. Sing the song you were born to sing and in that, you will have no regrets.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Halley Bock After working for over a decade in the field of human dynamics and teaching leaders and employees how to create connection with one another, I realized the greatest connection that's become more and more fragile is the connection we have with ourselves. And that before we can truly make deep, meaningful connection with another, we must first possess it within ourselves. I was so struck by the near-epidemic levels of running away from self that I left my career as a CEO to study and write this book
