I like telling a story especially a story that makes the reader think and want to keep going, but at the same time not too serious. Reading for me helps me to forget even for just a little while the "real" world and that is what i want to do for readers with my work.

Honestly going into it the story line was going to be completely different than what it turned out to be. I did some outlining and note taking, but the more i wrote and the characters talked to me the plot just kept changing.

Working full time really helps break up the writing for me,so writer's block never seems to be a big problem for me. A problem i do have is when i have an idea, especially at work. and i forget to write it down. It never comes back no matter what i try to do.

Writing use to be an every day thing for me when i was in elementary school/middle school. Then other hobbies took the over and it was just pushed to the side. Until one day i just knew i needed to try it again and the indie world. i have stories running rampant in my head. Just need to get them out.

Set some light goals and stick with them. What really got me on track to publish with my first book was booking an editor and setting a date. It wasn't a crazy date and she said if i wasn't done that things could be changed, but that is really what gave me the final push to get it done.
Do it for you and not anyone else. It's nice hearing kind words from readers, but really you need to do it for yourself.
