Therese Beharrie I take inspiration from everyone and everything, so while I probably can't tell you I've modeled a certain character after a specific person in my life, I've definitely used traits from the people around me :-)

Thanks for the question!
Therese Beharrie Thanks for the question, Sumi! :) I'm definitely more of a pantser! But recently, I've been trying to add more structure to my writing. So for my current writing projects, I've outlined the stories (very vaguely), and then write and check the outlines now and then. It seems to be working so far!
Therese Beharrie Make time to write! I wrote my first book between studying, working and planning my wedding; my second, in the fifteen minutes before I had to start work at a full-time job and during my lunch hour. It doesn't matter how much you write - every little bit will help you move closer to your goal of becoming a published author!
Therese Beharrie A Marriage Worth Saving is a story about how a relationship survives after the tragedy of losing a child. The idea came to me after my family went through similar tragedies last year. It was a way to process my feelings about it all and share my admiration for the strength of the women in my family.
