It has to be Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. I loved the elegant buffoonery of the doctor, who was clearly only put there so Holmes could explain what was going on; but he was always so charmingly naive that you just couldn't help but like him!

I am currently working on book number 5, which is as yet untitled, but is a fast-paced tale of intrigue, set in the mythical land of Ruritania.

My most recent book "The Virtual Lives of Godfrey Plunkett" was inspired when I one day received a text message from a complete stranger in error. I began to wonder what might happen if I pretended to be the correct recipient and replied accordingly - and the new book was born! It is a bitter-sweet comedy , with laugh-out-loud moments, but also some poignant moments too.
