Kathleen H. Wheeler Good guesses, it's Sting! The book title is adapted from one his songs that is a favorite of mine "I Was Brought To My Senses." It is a beauty, take a listen. My condolences on your father's passing, it's an insidious disease.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Kathleen H. Wheeler I was inspired to write BROUGHT TO OUR SENSES by my mother and her struggle with dementia. As she steadily declined over many years, I realized how a family in conflict could have a much harder time with this kind of responsibility. That discovery led to the premise: the intersection of dysfunctional family and Alzheimer’s disease, which is a precarious crossroads.
