How do you get inspired to write?
Elle Fielding By watching television, reading a book, or observing people interacting. Walking, running, driving, and travelling by train gives me fresh, new and exciting ideas. I love the idea of Artist's Dates, too.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Elle Fielding I like creating drama, tension, and then following it up with a happy ending. I also like exploring different parts of myself through attributing my various personality traits to my characters.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Elle Fielding I drag myself to my laptop, rid myself of all distractions, set a timer for twenty-five minutes, and write whatever comes into my head.
