I have trouble expressing myself in real life to actual human beings but I'd like to think people can get a better sense of who I am through my writing. I used to do this through drawing and painting but college beat it out of me. I'd rather type than pick up a paint brush nowadays. You can't beat the instant gratification though ;) .

I don't. I stare at the computer screen until it goes into 'sleep mode'. Then, 'wake' it back up again only to let it go back to 'sleep'. This goes on for maybe an hour until I say "forget it", and try again the next day.

The hardest part is starting.
Find the best authors in the genre you want to write in and read their work. Study their sentence structure whether it's dialogue or action sequences.

The sequel to 'Unholy' called 'Unbroken'. Hopefully it'll be out by the end of the year. *fingers crossed.* Also, a HP fanfic and another urban fantasy/ paranormal story that may develop into a series. Busy, busy, busy!

It all depends on how I'm feeling. Writing is an escape from reality for me. I usually write when I'm frustrated or unhappy where I am at that point in my life. An idea for a story can come to me at any time or my brain may be stuck on this one particular thing and I'll note it down for a later date, but to actually taking the time to iron out details and begin writing I have to be pretty upset about something.

Kanye West's album 'Yeezus' inspired 'Unholy'. The album is pretty dark and for some reason the movie 'Young Frankenstein' ran through my head but much darker and no humor was so ever as I listened to each track. This version of 'Unholy' is much more tamed and I believe entertaining than the original version I had in mind.
