The second book in the Billie James Series, and a couple of novellas based on some of the peripheral characters in "Ancient Affliction", and losing the spare tire around my waist. I thought those things were in style this year, or I wouldn't have gotten all those injections.

Just write the book. I promise, there will be someone out there that digs your story. The thrill of that one person enjoying a world you created is worth all the work.

Put simply, it's hella fun. You create a world in which nothing is off the table. And if you don't like it, delete and start over!

I get into my car and head to the nearest gas station. There, I gas up, buy Cheetos and Diet Mountain Dew and withdraw cash from a secret savings account I have hidden from my family. Then I drive to a remote location and drive my car off a cliff (without me in it, of course). Successfully faking my own death, I hide in the woods for a few weeks, surviving on my snack foods. I use the cash to start campfires with at night. When the money runs out, I return home to my grateful and relieved family. The attention and pampering totally kills the writer's block. I don't know why they keep falling for this stunt, but it works every time.
