No that is an awesome question. Long story short, I was at a child's birthday party and I saw a gay couple trying to enjoy the park just as we were. They finally left with their two kids after they could no longer ignore a family that seemed determined to embarrass them. I thought, damn that must be so awful. Anyway, that day and the fact that I soon discovered the MM genre, gave birth to my first novel, Long Road Home.

I used to write stories in my journal in my high school Eng class. My teacher senior your really enjoyed them and I just kept doing all through college.

Currently, I am working on the endings of two novels. I have about 5k words on another few. I really want to finish the ending on Book 3 and Book 4 of my Hill country series.

Go for it! I wrote simply because I wanted to give life to my characters. I did not begin writing with the thought of publishing, but because I love to do it. So do it for yourself and go from there.
