Andy Bex It's true that you have to be in the right 'mood' to write creatively, so if I am not in the right mood I wait. There are loads of other things that can be done: there are bits of writing that are less creative, there's research, typing up, spell and grammar checking, etc.

I find when the mood is right I am very productive, so it's better to wait, rather than forcing it.
Andy Bex Start writing! It's a long journey, so the sooner you start the better. I don't believe that everybody has a good book in them and the only way to find out is to try. I remember when I first submitted my book to a publisher, I didn't even understand the response. Apparently, I had made a grammatical error, that I'd never even heard of it - I had to look it up ;-)
Andy Bex I was looking for a plot that allowed me to jump around in time and space and not be limited by having a single 'life' of the main character. There were many similar plots before with elements of this: Dr. Who, various 'gate' whether SciFi or fantasy; but I think my solution is unique.
Andy Bex I am working on the next book in the Infinite Hero series called Shadow Warrior. I've got about 15k of 50k words written so far.

As you know I try to merge different genres in a single book, this was is Scifi colliding with Sword and Sorcery. I have four different threads running through the book; which seem totally unrelated, but come together in the end. Should be good. ;-)
