The idea for "The Open Road" first came to me a few years ago, when I thought, what would happen if a group of friends got trapped on a road that kept looping on itself? When I sat down to actually write it for A Journey of Words, I had no idea the direction in which the story was going to take me, but I'm very happy with the finished product.
