What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
J.R. Miller I simply can’t imagine a better plot than the mystery of our ultimate motive as the basis of all mysteries.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
J.R. Miller My initial concept for Uncommon Sense was a "theory of everything" as relates to human motive. My initial concept began to crystalize after returning to school in pursuit of a BA in Communication.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
J.R. Miller I am fortunate to not be plagued by this anomaly. I must instead grapple with the challenge of organizing and synthesizing an unending stream of signification.
