My inspiration for writing God Gave Us Wings came during prayer about losing my joy. Call me crazy or call me enlighten, but at that moment it became crystal clear that I was to write a book to inspire others. Now its been 2 1/2 years, and I am overflowing with happiness. Especially, because I know of the positive impact, these ten stories from Oprah's amazing journey to the survival of a wounded soldier will have on one's future.
