D.W. Kavanaugh The same place I get all my ideas - from my own life experiences.
D.W. Kavanaugh Write and revise. Then revise some more. Then send your work out to Beta readers and, if you can afford it, an editor. Take their comments seriously. Consider each one then make those changes that best serve your story. Maybe even make a few changes you aren't sure about because it might work out better than you think. D.W. Kavanaugh The second book in the Merivale Mysteries series.
D.W. Kavanaugh I keep writing. What I end up with may be garbage, but there are words on the page and that's all that counts. I have learned that, for me at least, I only get writer's block when I attempt to write a perfect 1st draft. A very bad idea. The 1st draft is supposed to be a mess.
