James Walter Stephens A friend recently suggested Redshirts by John Scalzi, and I have a stack of Garrett P.I. books by Glen Cook on my to-read bookshelf.
James Walter Stephens I'm lucky: I can't say as I've ever had this problem long term. When writing is hard for me, it's usually because I'm putting too much pressure on myself to complete something. James Walter Stephens The books in The Central Kingdoms Chronicles are all based on stories that I wrote for tabletop role playing games. The characters, their actions and speech, are based on the personalities imbued in them by my friends, the players who first gave them life.
