I honestly didn't write the Black Breeding books. I just found out about their existence today and have been trying to get them removed from y profile. I don't know where they came from or how they became linked to me. It is not the genre that I write. I write YA fantasy.
Now, The Cursed Princess, on the other hand, is all mine. There was a scene in there that was in a dream and I meant for that to be the epilogue to a different story, but those characters just took over.

Honestly, whatever I can find the time for. Being a single mom to 2 small children takes up so much time that I rarely find any time to myself to read.

I write letters. No, really. I tell writer's block how much it sucks. Then, I try to get to the river bank or the ocean and sit. It usually clears my head some, and helps to knock some ideas loose.

The best thing about being a writer is the opportunity that you have to bring entertainment to your audience. When I was growing up, I didn't have many friends. I read a LOT of books, and in those books, I was able to travel to faraway lands, and "meet" new characters. I have always wanted to bring that joy to others.

I just started on book 2's prologue! I'm hoping to start writing more of the second book as well.

I have always loved to write. With two kids, it can be very hard to find the time (and quiet, and space) to sit and write. I'm a Cancer, so I love to be near the water. Luckily, we're not too far from the Jersey Shore or the Delaware River, so I can just take a day trip or a short ride to be near the water.

I had a dream one night, about 2 years ago. I thought that it would make a great book, but when I started writing, I just couldn't relate to the characters the way I wanted to, and I couldn't answer many of the questions that I had. I shelved that book, and months later, had another dream, which I thought would be a great prologue for that previous book. However, my characters took over and that scene is now a pivotal one in The Cursed Princess.
