I will play fair and not choose characters from my own book. *smile* with that out of the way, I think Odelia and Greg from Sue Ann Jaffarian's Odelia Gray series.
I love how they met in book one and how their relationship progressed. It takes a special woman to fall in love with a man in a wheelchair who only has upper body strength. There were lots of things both of them had to learn in order to strengthen their relationship. Greg falls for Odelia, a plus size woman, and unashamedly pursues her. He loves everything about her including the things that also get on his nerves.

the best thing about being a writer is being able to become my characters and live vicariously through them as I tell their stories.

I walk away from it. I may abandon a project for hours or months but I never force what isn't flowing. When it comes, it comes. Until then I simply work on something else.

Write. Write everything. Empty your mind of every single thing you can possibly think of with regard to your book. After you have exhausted that well, go through what you wrote and sort it out. See what you have and what can be done with it then write some more. I would rather put too much on a page and have to trim it down than leave something unwritten and n my head/heart.

I am currently working on two books. I am working on the second installment in the Under the Shadow of the Almighty series as well as cleaning up the first installment of a separate novel for another series.

Hmmm... I am inspired by everything: my dreams, news headlines, people watching, etc. Anything can catch my attention and cause a 'what if' scenario that can easily turn into a book.
