Ann Loyal The hairs on his arms stood when he felt a cold breath brush his neck. He turned to see his own reflection watching him with a menacing grin.

Happy Halloween! ; )
Ann Loyal There are two worlds that I are equally interesting to me.

The first is JK Rowling's Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I'd definitely be a wizard at Hogwarts in Ravenclaw. I'd also be a potions wiz. (Pun intended)

The second world is Rick Riordan's Demi-God World. I would be a daughter of Athena at Half-Blood Camp. I would be one of the smartest demi-gods there. No to toot my own horn.

Knowledge and learning is life. That's why I would want to be smart in a fictional world.
Ann Loyal Everything that is on my Currently-reading-list.
I really need to finish them. Lol.

In no particular order:
1- The Circle by Dave Eggers
2- Heist Society by Ally Carter
3- Behind the Gates by Eva Gray
4- The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan
5- All Fall Down by Ally Carter
6- The Scorch Trails by James Dashner (I started it about a year ago so I'm just going to start over again.)
Ann Loyal Both my parents' and my grandparents' houses are haunted. Not scary nightmare haunted, just strange feelings and things going bump in the night haunted. I have always wondered about the history of both houses. My grandparents home is old. It's is made with adobe and is uneven suggesting it was built by amateurs. My parents home, I believe, was build in the 80's. Both houses have this sense of history to them that I have never investigated, but once I found out the truth about them, each would make for a great horror or mystery novel.
Ann Loyal "Against the Inevitable" is my senior thesis for my undergrad studies. To graduate, I had to create a collection of my work from my time at Santa Fe University of Art and Design. The collection was suppose to have a central theme, and as I looked over all my work, I realized death was a common denominator in many of them.
The prose poem "Face of Death" is the only story that was created solely for the collection and is the central piece of the collection.
Ann Loyal I have always had an overactive imagination, so writing is my way of getting all of my crazy ideas down on paper and out of my head. Not all my ideas make great stories, but at least I have an outlet for them. Plus, writing is cathartic.
Ann Loyal That's a great question. What am I not currently working on. At the moment I have over ten projects I am either just beginning or trying to finish.
Ann Loyal I, myself, am still an aspiring writer, and I know that this advise is probably the most common, but "keep writing, and never give up on your dreams" is the best advice anyone has ever given me.
Ann Loyal The best thing about being a writer is creating life, as fictional as it is. People read to get away from their lives, so I love creating those escapes.
Ann Loyal Writer's block is the one thing I have yet to figure out how to get around. Usually I just writing, but I always end up writing nonsense, and the block is still there. So, I guess I really don't deal with it to tell you the truth. I just let it pass, because it always does.
