Erin Lockwood It's so fresh in my mind, I have to say Outlander! Especially if I was Claire and I had Jamie. It's hard to imagine me wanting to go back in time to a world without modern plumbing, electricity and all the other luxuries I live with now. But the rawness of that lifestyle mixed with being madly in love is so attractive to me.
Erin Lockwood That's a great question! I'm not sure about a true mystery, but I've always wanted to write about my sister-in-law's adoption story. She struggled with the fact that she was given up, so as an adult, she went looking for answers. It turned out to be the most heart wrenching story. I can't wait to share it some day.
Erin Lockwood There are so many great ones to choose from! If I HAVE to pick a favorite, I think I might have to choose Gideon and Eva. They are both such strong characters and both their pasts are so twisted. Plus, they are sexy and steamy and all things powerful in a couple.
Erin Lockwood I jog.

I always run home with inspiration. If I'm not able to jog and I feel stuck on my book I push through and come back to it another day.
Erin Lockwood It makes me feel like the bravest person in the world. I feel so vulnerable and fragile putting my work out there but knowing what I've accomplished and exposing myself to the criticism of the public, makes me feel invincible.
Erin Lockwood Just do it.

Finish.

It's one of the greatest feelings I've ever had. I have never been so proud of myself, just knowing that I completed a novel.
Erin Lockwood I've been keeping a log of book ideas. Can't wait to get to them all!

Currently, I'm working on the rough draft to Angles - Part II. I'm about 3/4 of the way through.
Erin Lockwood I jog.

I describe a lot of this through my main character, Cara. The way my body feels when I'm exercising and listening to music. My blood flows and the creative juices start moving.

I always come home inspired to write.
Erin Lockwood After watching 50 shades of Grey, reading the books, reading the Crossfire series, and so on and so on. I started to realize the main male characters all reminded me of my husband... but different of course. We're all unique :)

I thought about all the triumphs and obstacles we went through when we first started dating so I wrote them down in a short story.

After showing my husband and rereading, I discovered a love for storytelling. I decided I would adapt from the short story and create a full length fictional love contemporary romance.
