Newfoundland and Labrador are one province of Canada. Operation Wormood and The Reckoning (they are a duology) take place in St. John's and Goose Bay. All of the other books in my Operation Series also take place in this province.

That is a good question! I guess it would be the history of my heritage. My family comes from Ireland. But I don’t know much more than that. I would love to find out where they came from exactly and why they left.

Hi
Thank you for reading Operation Wormwood. Yes, there will be a follow up to it but not until next year. I needed a year off from the subject matter. My next book, Operation Vanished, is a fictional investigation into missing and murdered women and why the crimes were never solved. I put a lot of research in to that one too.
Sgt. Myra is very close to me. I spend a lot of time with my characters. It would be very hard for me to get rid of him. But, the next chapter is not finished yet. We will both have to wait and see what happens to him. He hasn't told me yet!

My first love story was Wuthering Heights. I have read it several times over the years. Katherine & Heathcliff kept me coming back to them. I had never read about a love like that before. It is still one of my favourites.

I go for a walk with my dog and talk to her about it. About a mile into our walk she usually comes up with some great ideas to get me started.

Keep writing. Write about something that makes you moves you, makes you laugh, cry or think. Don't write for anyone other than yourself.

My next book is fiction. I can't go into details just yet.

I set aside time during the day to write. Sometimes it's an email and sometimes it's a whole chapter. Meditation helps me to focus and get started.
