Michelle Ian It's okay not to feel it. Like Stephen king says, When you are consumed by thoughts, write. When you are uninspired, read. When you're ready to to pull your feet from the quicksand, it'll come.
Michelle Ian Leaving your legacy behind. This is something that will outlast even you, live forever. If your story moves just one person, you're going in the right direction of fulfillment. As long as it moves you right along with it.

Michelle Ian By reading. Or by revisiting something that I wrote that I really liked. Something I was proud of.
Michelle Ian I met my characters first. Got to know them and discovered one had a terrible secret. A Cobra Mustang features heavily in this story and connects the protagonist and the antagonist. I followed them around and wrote down everything they thought and did.
