When I was planning my own wedding, I was extremely frustrated because I hadn't been prepared for the intense stress. What you see in magazines and on TV is not reality - I knew that, but I had no idea just how far removed the process can be from "the happiest time of your life." I started blogging about my own planning, and the positive response I got gave me the idea to write a wedding planning book. It's informational but it's in a conversational, funny, sometimes sarcastic tone - and I don't pull punches about anything.
